Developer, designer & technology enthusiast crafting meaningful digital experiences.
I'm Phil Forster — a former Royal Air Force Survival Equipment Fitter turned frontend developer, UI/UX designer, and branding specialist. With over a decade of hands-on experience maintaining life-saving aviation gear, I bring precision, reliability, and a mission-first mindset to every project I build. After earning degrees in Interactive Media (BA(Hons)) and Computing (BSc), I’ve led software initiatives across education, heritage, and entertainment sectors — blending modern web technologies with storytelling, accessibility, and strong visual identity. I've also held leadership roles both in uniform and in industry, managing teams, mentoring junior developers, and delivering cross-functional projects with calm focus and clarity. Beyond my professional work, I contribute actively to community-led initiatives and charitable projects, including digital infrastructure and exhibit design for Morayvia, a volunteer-run aviation museum in Scotland. Whether it’s building responsive applications, shaping a brand, or designing interactive kiosks, I craft meaningful digital experiences that connect and endure.

“Phil is a wonderful man and a great manager. He managed the team during the challenge of lockdown, helped engineers adjust to new processes, and maintained the legacy frontend. I recommend Phil for any role — he will handle anything thrown at him!” – Richard George, CPTO and Co-Founder of HeadCoach (August 5, 2023) LinkedIn
“I have worked closely with Phil over the past 2–3 years at The Football Pools. He demonstrated time and again his skill and understanding of the codebase we worked in. He was always happy to assist and give guidance whenever it was needed. Working with Phil as a manager, he was always on hand to support us — whether from a professional or personal perspective. He remained available for assistance or guidance despite the extra responsibilities he was undertaking as a manager.” – Reece Morgan, React Engineer (May 15, 2023) LinkedIn
